What did ya think?Anybody see Patti La belle is Austin last night?I'll be kind and just say she was not very good. In fact she was a bit annoying. She kept telling us all this stuff about all these people that had died in her life and her fight with diabetes and going through menopause and then she would mess with one of the 2 fans on stage then she would change her shoes again on stage. I was like just Shut Up and Sing. I mean after 49 years of being in show business as she pointed out many times you would think that she would be able to put together a better show than than. The sad thing is I loved her till last night. I wish I would have just stayed home. Oh and also she sang 3 count them 3 of her hits the rest was filler and someone elses songs.Anybody see Patti La belle is Austin last night?Nope - but have to say I met her once while getting my nails done! She was in our town for a concert and that afternoon happened to get her nails done in my salon...like a regular person! lol she was soooo nice and had us all laughing - I felt like I knew her all my life - and yep went to the concert and she was great - that was about 8 yrs ago now though but I'll never forget how down to earth and funny and nice she was. I'm sure she gave Austin a great show.Anybody see Patti La belle is Austin last night?I did I thought the whole concert was a mess. I payed 85.00 to hear her sing not watch her change her shoes. So she can hit some high notes. Ok big deal I was impressed with the first 3 then it was just tired. I wish she would have stopped with the drama like all the people who have died and throwing around the mic stand around and just do what we payed her to do which was to sing. It was like she was watching clock and trying eat up time. Not Cool Not a good performance. what a waste of talent.
